Alabama football made 6 touchdowns
Alabama football had next to no doubts as to whether Bryce Young would repeat his performance previous season. Bryce Young who is a Heisman trophy holder is being looked up for bringing varied skills in batch position.
Young scored six touchdowns and had 295 yards of total offense. Young played with a lot of newcomers on the field, but they looked like pros at their game.
The receivers Jermaine Burton and Kobe Prentice, who has five catches for 60 yards on the game and Traeshon Holden with a team-high of 70 yards on one catch, all had successful games. The running back Jahmyr Gibbs, the dominate rusher in the game averaging 10.3 yards per carry averaged more than other players in the game.
Prentice is a freshman who has been has been impressive in his quick rise through training camp, earning the spot of receiver on the first string. He caught Young’s first pass of the game and got pulled down by his face mask, which is why his cheekbone was welling blood and he had to be helped off the field.

When Alabama football welcomed Chadarius Burton, he was their top target with nine catches for 35 yards. In the third quarter Burton managed to receive a pass from backup Jalen Milroe, catching 2 completions while also drawing an interference penalty near the goal line. On a night when Alabama didn’t have to throw deep balls and rely on Chadarius Burton, he still managed five tackles.
A Georgia Tech running back transfer, Gibbs, would’ve led Alabama football in rushing if not for a career day on the ground by Young (100 scramble yards and a score). His total score was 93 yards on nine carries and successfully caught a pass. His stats were increased by a 58-yard burst up the middle in the third quarter.
Originally, playing on the defensive side, Bond pulls in a pair of receptions before being challenged by the backups. A penalty was called on Bond during his long run when he had managed to create some distance between himself and the defender.
Both Prentice and Gibbs made mistakes in the red zone and on running lanes, but their starts were impressive, especially because it was the beginning of the season.
