Alex Jones has made his life a living hell says Sandy Hook’s victim’s father
Alex Jones, a conspiracy theorist had made the life of a father of a 6-year-old boy killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, a “living hell”. The testimony was given in court that conspiracy theorist is pushing claims that the murder was a hoax involving actors.
Neil Heslin recounted the intense grief and fear he’s experienced due to being constantly harassed by people who are against gun control.
Heslin said that the criticism and threats he has received have made him fear for his safety.
A lawyer for Charles and Theresa said at a press conference that their homes have been shot at and they had to stay in an isolated location as a result of the ongoing trial.
Harassment and threats at the hands of the likes of Alex Jones and Infowars have followed the parents of children killed in the 2012 attack, who believe that this attack never happened.
Heslin and Lewis are suing for at least $150 million, claiming that the company knowingly supported a culture of sexual harassment.
Heslin said, “The legacy of my son deserves revenge and I want to fight for it.”
Jones, by virtue of having a Youtube channel with many followers, is responsible for starting the fire.
A key segment of the case is a 2017 Infowars broadcast that said Covington doesn’t hold his son’s body.
“Alex started this fight,” he said, ” and I’ll finish it.”
It is cowardly for Jones to miss the trial and make excuses not to attend. He was only in court on Tuesdays, which were the last days of testimonies, so he has not had much time with Heslin.

Scarlett Lewis, a loved one who was affected by the shooting in Charlestown, Massachusetts went to court to testify. She looked at Alex Jones while she spoke and spoke directly to him.
Lewis mentioned that he is a father and that the other person she was addressing was also a parent. Lewis acknowledged that their son existed, and that they knew about it.
In conversation with Michael Lewis, Jones says “I think what Michael Lewis is saying is that I’m in denial”
“No, I don’t think you’re an actor,” Alex Jones responded. The judge then told him to not talk until it was his turn to testify.
A forensic psychologist has determined that Heslin and Lewis suffer from PTSD following their continuous struggle to stay alive. The disorder has been linked with soldiers in war zones and victims of child abuse.
Alex Jones is portraying his lawsuit as an attack on his First Amendment rights.
The jury will have to decide either what amount of money, $150 million, James should pay the parents or if he will have to pay anything at all. He also is being asked to pay punitive damages in the case and it is up to the jury if they are going to give that to him as well.
Jones caused major trouble with his misrepresentation of the Sandy Hook massacre and was found liable in courts in Texas and Connecticut because of his refusal to respond to court orders and turn over documents.
Alex Jones has safeguarded his company financially. Last week, Free Speech Systems filed for bankruptcy protection. Sandy Hook families separately sued Jones alleging that the company is shielding millions owned by Alex Jones and his family through shell entities.
