Georgia Football begins title defense after easy victory
Georgia Football, national champions who are defending their title, had 15 players leave to enter the NFL as a draft. However, despite the loss of these players, Bulldogs who are No. 3 looked just fine in their first game of the season, beating 11th place Oregon 49-3.
Georgia Football’s defense was beyond hard to catch up for the Ducks, even with their main defensive player missing.
Previous to the 2019 NFL draft, Georgia football had many players drafted. Now, there are less players. Nevertheless, coach Kirby Smart said he is optimistic about his team’s future in terms of a CFP berth.
The victory seems to be just a temporary relief for the coach, who knows there is still much work that needs to be done.
“Expectation are in check,” Smart said. “You don’t have to worry.”
Georgia Football’s offense came on this past Saturday night against Oregon. Quarterback, Stetson Bennett previously a walk-on led the Bulldogs to their first national title in 41 years. He completed 25 of 31 passes for 368 yards and 2 touchdowns.

With only 21 seconds left in the first half, Bennett spins away from four Oregon defenders and somehow sees Ladd McConkey wide open in the end zone and scores a 4 yard touchdown. The score at halftime was Georgia 28, Oregon 3.

The team worked hard to earn a quarterbacks position and was successful since JT Daniels was injured.
Stetson is not influenced by anything, including me, you, or anyone else. He lives in his own world and does a good job of blocking out the noise, even though he still uses a flip phone.
The coach thinks player x has a lot of potential and made some good plays. He also made some decisions that weren’t so great, but the coach acknowledges that he knows those mistakes and will do better in the future.

The Georgia Bulldogs scored a touchdown on all of their first seven possessions and converted their first nine third-down opportunities. The team was flawless in the red zone, scoring a total of six touchdowns, without any punts for nearly two quarters.
Oregon had 313 yards of offense and averaged 4.6 yards per play, but the Georgia Football’s defense is much improved. They only allowed 9.2 yards per play, had two interceptions, and stopped Oregon at the 3-yard line with 1:22 left to play.
“We don’t want to be the hunted,” said safety Christopher Smith. “We want to hunt.”

Lanning made his debut as head coach of Oregon and the result was not good. He is a first-time head coach.
When asked about his predecessor Willie Taggart’s move from Oregon to Florida State, coach Justin Smart said that he would do a really good job. “He’s a relentless recruiter and it seems like the players are responding well to him,” Smart said.

The Georgia Bulldogs are a football team that goes to the University of Georgia. They compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision of the eastern division of the Southeastern Conference and have historically played their games at historic Sanford Stadium.

Known for its history, the rabid fan base and unique traditions, and, the Georgia Football Nation has won over 850 games in its history. The team’s Top 10 all-time ranking is 11th and it has finished in the Top 5 of AP Poll’s 26 times.
The Oregon Ducks football program competes at the NCAA Division I level and are members of the prestigious Pac-12 Conference. The team used to be called Webfeet, although now it is more commonly referred to as the Oregon Ducks due to several reasons.
Oregon football has a long history. The first time they played was in 1894. They have 54,000 seats at Autzen Stadium and rival Oregon State and Washington. They usually play their rivalry game against Oregon State in November.
In the 2010s, Oregon football has been led by a program that’s been one of the most successful teams. The program is characterized by its unique uniform style.
Marcus Mariota is the first player from the University of Oregon to win a Heisman Trophy, receiving 90.92% of possible points.
Mariota turned down a recruitment from Oregon and still won the Heisman award. This was in contrast to the scholarships offered by Oregon for potential contenders like Joey Harrington. They put up posters in Times Square, with just “Joey Heisman” written on them.
Mariota won the Heisman Trophy due to breaking all of Oregon’s records for total offense, total points, and passing. She also won the Pac-12 Championship.
Eight players from the University of Oregon have received Heisman votes, with LaMichael James receiving votes in 2010 and 2011. The only player to receive first place finishes was Cam Newton, who won it in 2010. Six other players including LaMichael James came in third place.
